Karin's Great Grand-Mother Brita Crosses Over to the Other Side

Sam's beloved Brita passes to a better place after a struggle with Cancer, old age, and heart complications.


Mor-Mor (Mother's Mother in Swedish) Brita was 91. They are seen together here in this loving photo together


We will treasure her memory and make sure Karin learns about her, and her life, as Karin grows up. We also know that Karin will be watched by Brita from where her spirit now is.


Sam is Brita's only Grandson and having spent almost every summer together from Childhood to Youth -- an incredible closeness and love has emerged. Brita was so overjoyed when she was able to briefly share in her Great Grandchild's life. Even though they did not spend a lot of time together (2 weeks) Brita spoke to Sam several times a week about Karin and was part of her development each step of the way (for all of Karin's life). Thanks to the Internet Brita was also able to surf the net (yes at 90 years old) and look at Karin's latest photos and videos.

Flowers in the front yard

Summer is here and Karin and family often go down to the river & play on the beach and also go for walks around the neighborhood to look at all the flowers.

Swinging

We often go to the playground. Today is the first time in a long while
as Karin has been with her Grandma. She has grown-up so much and seems
so mature.

Ballon !

Karin discovered how the wind impacts her balloon today! When the
balloon gets blown around she gets a little panicked and says "I can't
do it, I can't get it up into the sky!"

Barter

Today Karin asked me if she could have a lollipop. I said after your
chicken nuggets to which responded "chicken nuggets after lollipop?"

Karin is amazing! We have so much fun. She can walk all the way from
my shoulders to my calf muscles giving me a great massage. She has
great balance!
